Intermediate Watercolor Class
Class Description: Watercolor Exploration: Surfaces, Techniques, and Creations
Dive further into the vibrant world of watercolor in this hands-on class!
In this intermediate watercolor class, you'll deepen your understanding of color mixing and explore how different colors can influence the mood and composition of your artwork. You'll learn to distinguish between warm and cool colors and how to use them effectively. The class will also introduce a variety of watercolor surfaces, including experimenting with watercolor ground. Throughout the course, you'll have opportunities to paint subjects chosen by the instructor as well as start selecting your own reference photos to inspire your projects. Class size is limited to 15.
OPTIONAL SUPPLY KIT:
Required Supply List
- Watercolor Pad (Not spiral bound, around 9" x 12" size)
- Watercolor Brush
- Pencil
- Eraser (kneaded eraser is best)
- Watercolor Paint
